Scope
Actualizaciones en Sida e Infectología (Updates on AIDS and Infectious Diseases - ASEI) is a periodical scientific publication of Fundación Huésped and the Argentine Society of Infectious Diseases (SADI) whose goal is to disseminate scientific articles related to clinical, epidemiological and social research that contribute to the knowledge of general, pediatric and adult infectious disease practice, in all its aspects, and particularly those related to HIV/AIDS infection. This journal also aims to promote new research work related to the areas of interest. The areas addressed by articles published in ASEI include: antimicrobials, epidemiology, healthcare-associated infections, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), travel medicine, microbiology, immuno-preventable diseases and vaccines, HIV/AIDS and zoonoses. ASEI publishes scientific articles by national and international specialists. It is aimed at professionals from different areas of health care and research, as well as those from the social sciences in Argentina and Latin America who are related to infectious diseases in general and HIV/AIDS and other STIs.
