Scope
PharmacoEconomics promotes the continuing development and study of pharmacoeconomics, outcomes research and quality-of-life assessment providing a practical economic background to informed clinical prescribing decisions and allocation of healthcare resources. Specific areas of interest include health technology assessment, economic and humanistic burden of disease, cost effectiveness analyses, utility estimation, reimbursement decision making and related methodological issues.
Additional enhanced features (including slide sets, videos and animations) can be published with articles; these are designed to increase the visibility, readership and educational value of the journal’s content. In addition, articles published in PharmacoEconomics may be accompanied by plain language summaries to assist readers in understanding important medical advances.
All manuscripts are subject to peer review by international experts. Letters to the Editor are welcomed and will be considered for publication.
