Scope
Clinical Medicine Insights: Trauma and Intensive Medicine is a peer-reviewed open access journal that publishes research that focuses on all aspects of intensive and trauma care. The journal is targeted at health professionals working within these subspecialties. Original research and review articles on topics of interest are invited. Periodically themed editions will be commissioned on topics deemed of particular interest by the editorial board. International peer reviewing ensures published articles are of high quality and the review process ensures potential articles are managed efficiently. The journal publishes research on a variety of topics that include · Prehospital trauma care · Initial trauma assessment · Imaging modalities in trauma · Resuscitation of trauma patients · Pelvic injuries · Abdominal trauma · Thoracic trauma · Spinal trauma · Cerebral trauma · Extremity trauma · Management of trauma patients on intensive care · Rehabilitation of trauma patients post injury · Education in trauma and intensive care.
