Scope
The Journal of Dietary Supplements (JDS) publishes original research studies relevant to dietary supplements. The Journal publishes the following types of manuscripts: Expert commentaries and opinions; Original research articles; Narrative, comprehensive and scoping reviews; Systematic reviews and meta-analyses; Reports from authoritative scientific groups or government agencies; Letters to the Editor
Original research article must be received within 12 weeks of the article's online publication. All letters will be subjected to editorial review and decision before acceptance. The Journal of Dietary Supplements does not accept letters that are unrelated to a specific, recently published original research article; that contain extensive unpublished data; or that engage in personal slander or invective. The Journal of Dietary Supplements does not print letters to the editor based on opinion pieces such as editorials, perspectives, commentaries, and the like, since these are clearly the opinions of the authors. Letters should be submitted by e-mail to twallac9@gmu.edu .
Letters must be provided as a Word document. They must be double-spaced, include line numbers, should include a title page, should have no more than 10 references, and should not exceed 1000 words . All letters to the Editor must include a conflict of interest statement.
