Printed since 1959, the Journal of the Mississippi State Medical Association (JMSMA) a peer-reviewed, open access, monthly scientific medical journal. JMSMA publishes timely information on matters affecting Mississippi physicians and their patients. JMSMA follows the recommendations of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors and the latest edition of the AMA Manual of Style. The scope of JMSMA is as broad as the definition of medicine itself, including all activities concerned with medical care of Mississippians.
