Scope

GMS Infectious Diseases (GMS ID) publishes articles related to the epidemiology, diagnosis, pathogenesis, prophylaxis and therapy of infectious diseases. GMS ID publishes current research as original articles and brief reports as well as reviews, guidelines, case reports and letters to the editors. GMS Infectious Diseases is published within German Medical Science (GMS), the publication portal of the Association of the Scientific Medical Societies in Germany (AWMF), developed in cooperation with the German Institute of Medical Documentation and Information (DIMDI) and ZB MED – Information Centre for Life Sciences. The journal further serves as official publication organ of the “Paul-Ehrlich-Gesellschaft für Chemotherapie e. V.” (PEG).
