Scope
Aim:
Journal of Market Access & Health Policy (ISSN 2001-6689) is an open access publication focused on the concept of “market access” from economic, technical, scientific, sociological, psychological, and policy perspectives.
Journal of Market Access & Health Policy (JMAHP) is the official journal of the Market Access Society.
Market access is a new discipline at the crossroads of several disciplines, including pharmacology, clinical trials, statistics, econometrics, epidemiology, pricing, psychology, policy, and Health Technology Assessment (HTA). It is a multifaceted area ultimately impelled by making innovative therapies available to patients. It has only been recognized as a topic in itself in recent times, and the book by Professor Mondher Toumi, Introduction to Market Access for Pharmaceuticals (1st ed.; CRC Press, 2017), founded the discipline.
Journal of Market Access & Health Policy aims to link all of the components that impact “market access” and provide a convergent, broader perspective within a single, specialized journal. Journal of Market Access & Health Policy serves as a reference desk for industry, regulators, academics, clinicians, and other professionals within the medical and allied health fields providing innovative research articles, discussion papers on the best practices, and valuable guidelines.
