Scope

AsiaIntervention is the official journal of the Asian-Pacific Society of Interventional Cardiology (APSIC) and the Interventional Cardiology Foundation of India (ICFI). Driven by a group of recognised experts worldwide, AsiaIntervention Journal is an international, English language, peer-reviewed journal whose aim is to create a forum of high quality research and education in the field of percutaneous and surgical cardiovascular interventions with particular emphasis on scientific contributions from the Asia-Pacific region. It is released twice in paper and electronic formats. AsiaIntervention has recently applied for indexation in Science Citation Index® (ISI), SciVerse Scopus, MEDLINE®/PubMed®. Although there are quite a number of journals in the Asia-Pacific region, either in native languages or in English, none is dedicated to publishing work in the interventional cardiology field primarily originating from within our Asia-pacific region. This is why we launched AsiaIntervention as a journal dedicated specifically to the region. Alongside its formidable economic development, the Asia-Pacific region, which accounts for over 60% of the world population, has experienced the most rapid expansion in interventional cardiology worldwide.
