Scope
The British Journal of Diabetes (BJD) is a peer reviewed journal published twice yearly and available open access online at www.bjd-abcd.com. The journal is the official journal of the Association of British Clinical Diabetologists and publishes original research, review articles, position statements, editorials, discussion papers and case reports on all aspects on the diagnosis and management of diabetes and diabetes-related conditions. All submissions are peer-reviewed.
The journal is provided free of charge in hard copy to individuals in the United Kingdom meeting the journal's free circulation criteria.
The journal is published twice yearly in June and December.
The British Journal of Diabetes is a journal for the healthcare practitioner that is intended to increase knowledge, disseminate and stimulate research, and promote better management of people with diabetes by providing a forum for the exchange of ideas. To achieve these goals, the journal publishes a variety of original articles on all aspects of diabetes mellitus, ranging from clinical care, education, nutrition, clinical psychology, cardiovascular and metabolic risk to emerging technologies and therapeutics. Categories of publication include research articles, narrative reviews, systematic reviews, study protocols, editorials, audits, case reports, correspondence and commentaries.
