Scope
Journal of Applied Hematology, an official publication of Saudi Scientific Society of Hematology is a peer-reviewed on-line journal, published quarterly with print on demand compilation of issues. The journal is one of the few journals in the Middle East with focus on issues relating to hematological disorders and their treatment in the region. The journal's policy is to promote clinical, applied, translational and bio-medical research in the field of benign, pre-malignant and malignant hematological disorders. This is being served with a large group of local and international reviewers providing critical evaluation as well as advice for young investigators and aspiring authors. Journal’s full text is available online at www.jahjournal.org. The journal allows free access (Open Access) to its contents and permits authors to self-archive final accepted version of the articles on any OAI-compliant institutional / subject-based repository. The journal does not charge for submission, processing or publication of manuscripts, or reproduction of photographs. The journal will cover technical and clinical studies related to health, ethical and social issues in field of Thrombosis, bleeding disorders, Hemoglobinopathies, transfusion medicine, hematological malignancies and stem cell transplantation. Articles with clinical interest and implications will be given preference.
