The journal aims to promote research, education, and clinical care in liver disease within Canadian and international communities.
The Canadian Liver Journal is particularly interested in original research and review articles that explore the following:
The unique experiences of North America’s Indigenous communities in relation to liver disease, liver health, and delivery of health care;
The unique experiences of ethnic communities in North America in relation to liver disease, liver health and the delivery of health care; and
The unique experiences of Northern and rural communities in relation to liver disease, liver health and delivery of health care.
The Canadian Liver Journal welcomes original clinical and translational research, review articles, systematic reviews, clinical case reports, and letters to the editor on all aspects of liver disease (see Manuscript Types). The Canadian Liver Journal is a peer-reviewed and open access journal with a broad international readership of researchers, physicians, and health administrators.
