Scope
The Pharmaceutical Newspaper (PZ), is the leading journal of pharmacy. The editors of the Pharmazeutische Zeitung pursue the goal of providing competent, serious, comprehensive and up-to-date information on political and health policy developments, relevant developments in pharmaceutical research and the current state of pharmaceutical practice. The PZ is the professional journal of German pharmacists and wants to reach all pharmacists and young professionals. Above all, PZ's offer is aimed at pharmacists in public pharmacies, in the hospital, in the pharmaceutical industry, in administration and public services. With their technical information and scientific data, the PZ offers, especially PZ online, and increasingly also with a wider circle of readers, such as from the science, the medical field and the health care sector, interest. Careful research, relevance and timeliness of the selected topics have the highest priority for reporting. The aim is to support readers with practical information in their daily work and to offer continuing education at a scientifically high level. Facts should be prepared in such a way that the readers are comprehensively and, above all, neutrally informed. Short, easy to read texts with the necessary depth and common technical terms are the standard of the PZ. In particular, the title contributions deepen individual topics and, where appropriate, address specific target groups. In addition to the neutral reporting, the editors are also looking for opinions.
