Scope

The mission of ATS Scholar is to improve the health of people with respiratory diseases, sleep disorders, and critical illness by disseminating high-quality scholarship related to education and training that impacts the care of these patients. ATS Scholar is an international, open-access online journal publishing blind peer-reviewed health professions education manuscripts relevant to the fields of pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine, including those related to the teaching of common clinical topics, the training of healthcare providers and scientists, and educational research. Blind peer review is conducted in a manner that does not disclose the identity of reviewers to the authors. Manuscripts pass an initial evaluation by the editor-in-chief and deputy editors, and then are typically assigned to two peer reviewers.
