Scope
The Journal of HEOR is an international high-quality journal covering all fields and methodologies related to health economics and outcomes research. Manuscripts with topics ranging from theory and methodology to international studies and analyses with a health economic or outcomes research focus in a wide variety of therapeutic areas will be considered for publication.
JHEOR’s mission is to combine the highest academic standards through peer review with a speedy publication process that corresponds to the productivity of the industry. JHEOR aims to contribute to the development of methodological standards in the field with rapid publication, validated by rigorous peer view.
Theoretical models and empirical studies from any therapeutic area are accepted. In particular, articles related to comparative effectiveness research, health technology assessments, economic evaluations, meta-analysis, literature research, patient-reported outcomes, preference-based assessments, and health policy analyses are welcome. Reflecting the multidisciplinary nature of the field, JHEOR fosters communication among a diverse set of communities, including social and behavioral sciences, economists, statisticians, epidemiologists, health care providers, and policy makers.
