Scope
The Chonnam Medical Journal is a peer-reviewed open access journal of medicine which is published 3 times per year on January 25th, May 25th and September 25th in English. The journal's publishers are the Chonnam National University Medical School and the Chonnam University Research Institute of Medical Sciences. The abbreviated title is the Chonnam Med J (CMJ). This Journal aims to promote the exchange of scientific information generated from basic and clinical research. Both human and animal (or clinical and experimental) studies are welcome including physiology, pathophysiology, diagnostics and therapeutics of diseases with epidemiological studies in the general population. This Journal publishes original and review articles, letters to the editor, images in clinical medicine, and editorials in the fields of clinical and experimental medicine. Chonnam Medical Journal strives to achieve an understanding of the immensely complex medical sciences by providing highly relevant information to readers involved in basic and clinical investigation.
