Scope
?The Turkish Journal of Vascular Surgery aims primarily at vascular surgeons to be the leading international open-access journal in which the diagnosis of arterial, vein and lymphatic vessel diseases and their medical, endovascular and surgical treatments are updated and discussed. To achieve this goal, it is improved the management of patients with vascular disorders by publishing relevant articles focusing on the investigation, management and prevention of peripheral arterial, venous and lymphatic diseases, vascular access, trauma and malformations. The journal reports on important medical, surgical and endovascular advances, tests new hypotheses, and addresses current controversies. Papers that consider the technical aspects of vascular surgery are encouraged, and the journal includes invited state-of-the-art articles. These encompass all relevant clinical, surgical and experimental studies, editorials, current and collective reviews, technical know-how papers, case reports, interesting images, How to do It papers, correspondences, and commentaries.
The journal, initiated by the National Society of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery in 1992 under the name "Damar Cerrahi Dergisi," was renamed as "Turkish Journal of Vascular Surgery" in 2019. It continues its publication life by determining English as the publication language.
The Turkish Journal of Vascular Surgery is the official journal of the Turkish National Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Society. The Journal is funded by these societies, no publication fee is required.
The policy, content, and the format of this journal comply with the requirements (Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals) of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors.The journal editors are fully responsible in reviewing and approving materials published.
