Scope
Laboratory Medicine International (LMI) is an online English journal published in 2022 by the Japanese Society of Laboratory Medicine to disseminate research on clinical laboratory medicine to the world. The journal is a quarterly peer-reviewed international journal that accepts submissions on topics related to clinical chemistry, immunology, microbiology, hematology, thrombosis and hemostasis, transfusion medicine, molecular diagnostics, cytology, histology, and laboratory management. Original research articles, reviews, case reports, and editorials will be published. LMI will also consider publishing clinical laboratory topics such as laboratory methods, evidence-based laboratory medicine, health economics, best practices, utilization of tests, critical care based on the scientific scope of laboratory medicine, and in-depth descriptions of laboratory medicine practice.
