Scope
Allergo Journal is an Interdisciplinary Journal of Allergy, Clinical Immunology and Environmental Medicine. The Allergo Journal is the official journal of the German Association of Allergists (AeDA) and the Austrian Society for Allergology and Immunology (ÖGAI). The goal of the Allergo Journal is to provide state-of-the-art information for all medical and scientific disciplines dealing with allergic, immunological, and environmental medical diseases. It publishes original articles and review articles, case studies, letters to the editors, as well as guidelines and position papers – both in German and English. The articles address allergic, immunological, and environmental medical diseases, the latest developments in diagnostics and therapy, current research on antigens and allergens, and aspects of occupational and environmental medicine. An international editorial board guarantees the quality of the publications. All articles undergo a peer review process with at least two reviews prior to publication. In addition, the Allergo Journal's editorial section specifically for practicing allergists offers summaries of current allergological publications from the international literature, conference reports, interviews, and reports on professional and professional policy.
