Scope
JCC Plus is an Open Access journal that provides a broad perspective on inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and its multidisciplinary care. The journal aims to expand the scope of published IBD research and to foster a diverse, global community of readers and contributors. We welcome submissions across the full breadth of modern IBD science and care, with particular interest in the following areas: Global IBD – Epidemiological and clinical studies that reflect changing incidence, unique phenotypes, and context-specific management priorities across different regions, health care systems, and genetic backgrounds. Systemic manifestations & overlap with other IMIDs – Research that explores the multisystem nature of IBD, its relationship with other immune-mediated inflammatory diseases (IMIDs), and its broader impact on health and well-being. Voices from multidisciplinary care – Contributions from the full IBD care team, including nurses, dietitians, psychologists, allied health professionals, and—critically—patients. IBD in society – Studies that quantify the economic and societal burden of IBD, capture lived experiences through qualitative research, and inform health policy and service delivery.
