Scope

Aim: The aim of the Journal of Aesthetic Medicine (ISSN 3042-6774) is to publish open access, peer-reviewed papers on improving aesthetics through dermatology, plastic surgery, cosmetic procedures, and a combination of all three. This journal publishes Research Papers, Reviews, and Communications; other article types are also considered. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible so that the results can be reproduced according to the instructions. There are no restrictions on the maximum length of papers. Scope: This journal covers all topics related to aesthetic medicine. Topics of interest include (but are not limited to) the following: Aesthetics: Aesthetic Psychology and care; Aesthetic education; The ethical care of patients; Aesthetics and the law; Risk management and prevention of aesthetic medicine. Dermatology: Facial rejuvenation; Scars; Skin Laxity; Wrinkles; Skin Management; Alopecia Areata; Dermoscopy. Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery: Blepharoplasty; Rhinoplasty; Otoplasty; Cosmetic Dentistry; Head and Neck Reconstruction Surgery; Facial Fracture; Cleft Palate. Surgical Procedures: Liposuction; Facelifts; Abdominoplasty.
