Neuropathology and Applied Neurobiology is an international journal, sponsored by the British Neuropathological Society, for the publication of original papers and authoritative reviews on the disease mechanisms and the clinical pathology of disorders of brain, nerve and muscle. It welcomes contributions with a tissue-based focus on all relevant aspects of neurological disease, from experimental neurobiology to pathological diagnosis, regardless of methodology. Multidisciplinary papers are particularly welcomed. The journal publishes original data papers, authoritative reviews, short reviews and commentaries. Case reports that contain significant novel findings may be published as items of scientific correspondence, and the journal welcomes constructive and interesting letters. Its multidisciplinary approach encourages work on all the relevant aspects of neural and muscle tissues in health and disease regardless of the methodology.
