EJCN is an international, peer-reviewed journal covering all aspects of human and clinical nutrition. The journal welcomes original research, reviews, clinical case reports and short communications based on clinical, metabolic and epidemiological studies that describe methodologies, mechanisms, associations and benefits of nutritional interventions for clinical disease and health promotion. Topics of interest include but are not limited to: Food and health (including functional foods and consumer protection); Interventions and public health nutrition; Nutrition epidemiology; Maternal nutrition, infants and children; Nutrigenomics and molecular nutrition; Body composition, energy expenditure and physical activity; Carbohydrates, glycemic index and diabetes mellitus; Lipids and cardiovascular/metabolic health; Protein, malnutrition and wasting diseases; Enteral and parenteral nutrition; Vitamins and plant food; Minerals, trace elements and bone health.
