International Journal of Yoga (IJOY), is a multidisciplinary Semiannual scientific Yoga journal, dedicated to Yoga research. It publishes original research articles, review articles, short communications, case reports, Letter to the Editor related to Yoga. The main focus area for the journal is Yoga and Life Sciences. We encourage authors to submit articles which explains mechanisms of yoga, physiological changes and therapeutic benefits. Fields of particular interest to the journal include, but are not limited to: Health benefits of yoga: efficacy as well as mechanism trials; Psychophysiological effects of Yoga; Meditation and neurocognitive changes; Meditation and neuroimaging, cerebral blood flow changes; Breath regulation and its health benefits, physiological impact on body; Cellular and molecular mechanisms of Yoga; Yoga and performance, perception, learning & cognition; Yoga and neural plasticity, neural regulation, autonomic changes; Yoga and metabolic changes; Yoga and ageing; Subtle energy fields Consciousness.
