Scope
It is a quarterly publication edited by the Mexican Social Security Institute, with the purpose of contributing to the updating, training and continuing education of nursing professionals and other health professionals, in order to promote the use of knowledge in practice and strengthen intellectual, technical and relational competencies in decision making.
Because it is a disciplinary journal, topics related to Nursing are addressed in each issue, as well as contributions of interdisciplinary collaboration with Nursing or other professions towards nursing.
The contributions are unpublished and original, once they are arbitrated and accepted, they are published as quantitative or qualitative research articles, review articles, and contributions of the practical experiences such as nursing process, case studies and care and management protocols. ; as general information articles, there are book reviews and recommendations from non-governmental organizations; The letters to the editor section is the space for communication and interaction between the reader - author - editor.
The evaluation process of the manuscripts proposed for publication is carried out in accordance with the ethics and confidentiality of the anonymity of the arbitrators, who rule independently and double blindly.
