Scope
The Canada Communicable Disease Report (CCDR) is a bilingual, peer-reviewed journal on infectious diseases. It is published on the Government of Canada website by the Public Health Agency of Canada on the first Thursday of each month, with combined issues in March/April and July/August. The CCDR provides practical and authoritative information on infectious diseases to clinicians and public health professionals as well as researchers, policy-makers, teachers, students and others who are interested in infectious diseases. CCDR publishes surveillance reports, outbreak reports, original research, rapid communications, advisory committee statements and more.
The journal ensures scientific rigour through a double-blind review process, participation of Guest and Associate Scientific Editors and an international expert advisory Editorial Board.
