Clinicians, educators, health policy experts, advocacy groups, health-system administrators and members of the biotech, pharma, and medical device industry can meaningfully engage in discussion, dialogue, and opinion writing on challenging, controversial, and disruptive topics including past failures and lessons learned that are expected to shape future health care. Submissions from all medical and surgical specialties are welcome as long as they are relevant to a broad audience and address the current and future challenges of the field. Domains of special and particular interest for MCP:IQ&O include: Addressing the burden of chronic diseases (for example, Lifestyle Medicine); Global Health; Diversity, Equity and Inclusion across the full spectrum of health care ecosystem (patients, care providers, systems, nations, and the global community); Ethical and policy issues pertaining to the biotech and infotech revolution and its interface with medicine; Use of new methodology in clinical research; Bioinformatics, telehealth, and health-systems research; Health care economics.
