Scope
Aperture Neuro’s mission is to offer a high quality, peer-reviewed, low cost, open-access publishing platform for the international brain imaging and neuroscience community. We aim to help advance our understanding of the brain and catalyze the dissemination and use of novel methods and tools. We also aim to increase the impact of brain imaging and assessment on society. We are affiliated with the Organization for Human Brain Mapping and are committed to contributing to a positive transformation in the publishing landscape by expanding our range of research objects beyond traditional PDFs to include datasets, code, notebooks, and videos. We aim to catalyze progress towards more fully understanding the brain as well as towards increasing the clinical efficacy of brain imaging research. Scope of Submissions: We welcome submissions from all researchers in brain imaging and neuroscience. We seek contributions that enhance our understanding of the brain’s structure, function, organizational principles, and computational mechanisms. Our current publication scope covers a wide array of categories, including original research in all aspects of neuroscience - with a focus on the human brain.
