Scope

The main mission of the journal is to popularize the latest knowledge and achievements of evidence-based medicine in the field of pulmonology. The most important objectives of the journal are: Improving the scientific and practical qualifications of pulmonary medicine physicians; Training of personnel in the specialty of "pulmonology"; Ensuring the earliest possible publication of the results of original research in the field of diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases; Exchange of practical experience of doctors, familiarization of readers with the peculiarities of pulmonology services in various regions of Russia; Informing readers about the latest protocols, standards and recommendations of international medical societies in the field of respiratory medicine; Discussion and subsequent publication on the pages of the journal of domestic consensus documents, as well as announcement of events of the Russian Respiratory Society; Coverage of administrative documents, orders and decrees of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation; Covering historical aspects of the formation of the Russian pulmonological school. The scientific concept of the publication involves the publication of the results of modern evidence-based research in the field of respiratory medicine, the involvement of leading domestic and international experts in their discussion, and the formation of national consensus documents in the field of respiratory medicine. Domestic and foreign specialists working in the fields of pulmonology, phthisiology, thoracic surgery, allergology and clinical immunology, pediatric pulmonology, oncology, respiratory physiology, and internal medicine are invited to publish in the journal.
