Community Mental Health Journal is devoted to evaluation of and critical discourse about services offered within the public mental health and substance abuse sectors. Papers of interest to the Journal's readers include nationally representative epidemiologic projects as well as intervention research involving benefit and risk comparisons between service programs. While not a priority for the Journal, manuscripts that address methodology (such as instrumentation) pertinent to public sector behavioral health evaluation or research will also be considered. Articles reflect research from a range of disciplines on recovery-oriented services, public health policy, clinical delivery systems, advocacy, and effective practices that advance individual and population mental health.
