Scope
Global Advances in Health and Medicine publishes original research, brief reports, systematic reviews and meta-analyses, case reports and case series dealing with the full range of whole-person health and well-being, from the perspective of the individual to the community. The journal’s goal is to provide the broad diversity of health professionals with the latest knowledge from basic, clinical, epidemiological research to population health. Topics include but are not limited to: Interventions to promote health and wellness, prevent illness, foster healthier lifestyles; Treatments for symptoms and disease that focus on whole-person approaches; Strategies to prevent disease progression and provide palliative care; Randomized clinical trials of lifestyle interventions to reduce obesity in adolescents in underserved populations; Investigations of biomarkers associated with greater responses to specific dietary approaches for Type II diabetes; Predictors of enrollment in mindfulness or lifestyle interventions following myocardial infraction
