Scope
The Colombian Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology (RCOG) was founded in January 1950. It is the official periodical of the Colombian Federation of Obstetrics and Gynecology (FECOLSOG) (formerly the Colombian Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology). Its circulation is quarterly, appearing in the months of March, June, September, and December. The RCOG publishes research articles related to women's health throughout their life cycle, with an emphasis on the fields of gynecology and obstetrics and their various subspecialties, public health, and issues related to gender and violence. It also publishes articles on medical education and the history of medicine. Priority is given to research of national, regional, and Ibero-American interest.
